Me and my brother are thinking of attempting a charity ride from Lands end to Jonh O Groats.
Has anybody else done anything like this, and how do you go about it?
Rich
There was someone on here - BDG(?) - who did this last year I think. I have a friend in Worcester who did it years ago firstly by bicycle, then a few years later on his BMW. When are you thinking of doing it?

Hi Rich,
I did it last September and raised £4000, 850 miles in 1 hit. u2u me or give me a call on 07973 741335 and i'll give you any help i can.
I did actually do a posting on it but i'm not clever enough to just do the xxxxxxxxxxxxx link bit here that leads you to the thread so i'll dredge it up and repost it on the board now.
Good luck.

just as Chris said...
I remembered your post anyway - a search for all posts by BDG that included the keyword 'charity'....
Load that page up then, copy the address line at the very top of the screen (where it says 'address' - if you use Internet explorer).
Paste this into your post and if a http: bit is there the wonderful DSC board is clever enough to make it into a clickable link.
No worries :)
Cheers - Frank
