The Ducatisuite website was one of the first I bookmarked as a favourite and is still just as good as back then.....
Excellent mod on this page about how to space out the standard clutch cover for us 'skinflints' :D

Good site Frank
I had to laugh at the 'lens keeper' tip though. Orange thread?? I think I'd be tempted to use Locktite on the fixing screw first!

 True Steve - there are some odd-balls in there.
But...I think our American cousins can be forgiven for being 'eccentric' ;)

Have seen that mod done before, only problem is if you have an "off". All the load goes to the three bolts which can bend very easily and trash your clutch. Using this mod, the ONLY support for the cover is that provided by the bolts. As standard, most of the load is transferred directly and evenly to the clutch casing.
If you are that skint, my own suggestion would be to simply drill some holes in the cover. They will do the same job and leave your clutch at far less risk.

Good Point Yeti.
I had not thought of that one, guess I'll just stick with the yearly cleanout instead then !!!
Psychlist? Get your camera out old chap!
Psy has recently had his cover done... a couple of elongated holes in the bottom and a gold respray and I think it looks quite good.
Iconic, take a look at what I did to my standard cover here: www.jlawson.com/996 If you think it looks ok, send me a spare cover and I'll machine and paint it for you.
