Does anyone else have a yellow bip?
I swear there's about 3 different shades of yellow on there.:o
Am I nuts?
Where's a better place to get touchup paint > halfords or motorcyclepaint.co.uk?

I have a yellow bip, depends what the paint has been applied to, eg metal tank, plastic body panels etc. Are you sure your bike has'nt been down the road:lol:

I do supply touch ups for most Ducatis, and yes there is about 5 different yellows which are all for the different models so you have to sure you have all info to get correct colour.
You can only check that your bike is all the same colour or should i say shade by taking it all to bits and putting panels together in sunlight, as all the different angels and shadows play havoc with the colour. Hope this helps.
You will definately be able to tell if it has been down the road by checking the back of the panels.

what about your local council depot - they call it 'skip' yellow.

Surley the best way to solve your touch up problem would be to have it sprayed the correct colour - RED!:D

I have a '98 916 BP Foggy Rep which had a respray to convert it to the replica, since owning it I have 'marvelled' at all the different shades of red you can get in different light and at different vauntage points! The bike looks like 3 different reds on one. It has not been down the road and is a mint 3200 miler! But I have never known a bike to play tricks with my mind!
