Its been real eye opener this week to get an insight behind the scenes of the effort that goes into being the best in your chosen Olympic sport. The physical effort, the science, the bloody minded determination etc that it takes.

Couldn’t help but draw comparisons with the overpaid Girls blouses that flounce about every week in the season and get paid hundreds of thousands of pounds to do so. They fall over because some runs near them, have no respect for the officials or each other, are self obsessed and above all are
pi55 poor role models.

The England kickball team are serial losers who along with most “professional” kickballists could learn a lot from the majority of the Team GB Olympians.

Nurse! time for me tablets.

Ray.

Ray,

Agreed especially when you can have the female hockey team members doing this:

What a load of crap, just because you don't like football don't try and tar the whole sport with the same brush. Footballers are paid market rate, on the whole they don't decide to be celebrities (that's down to football being the most popular sport in the world) and the odd few who make headlines are the exception rather than the rule.
To suggest that most footballers don't dedicate themselves to the sport shows that you really don't know what you're talking about. I'm happy for you to profess you're dislike for any sport but don't base your argument on jealousy, misinformation and poor stereotypes, your doing yourself a disservice.
Now put the Daily Mail down and be a lover not a hater.

Now then I do like football, but my team is up and down the tables from Premiership down, however quite a lot of footballers are as Ray has stated:
