Was this caused when you were bumped up the rear?

Tony, did they just service it or was it "fiddled" with too? How much did it set you back?

I had the suspension set up at the same time. I sat on it in my leathers and they measured it up etc, ended up having the rear spring replaced.
As for the price, it was around £200 or so, having the front and rear setup, the rear shock serviced and a new spring for the rear.

And it made a noticable difference?
Absolutely, but then my rear shock was leaking oil ...
I felt like the front was pushing all the time and that was a combination of tyre wear and the forks being too hard etc. I was really disappointed with the handling of a 996 to the point where I was considering shopping it ...
I'm glad I didn't, it's so stable and confidence inspiring now.
Maxton serviced my Showa a few years back. I think it was around £50 ish.

I have a friend who does mine. He used run a bike shop, Ohlins trained, franchised by K-tech. Does it on the side now as a hobby so he won't rip you off. Bit of a find really.

Tony, did HM Racing do any work on the Front Showa's or did they just make adjustments to the forks ?
Just a setup, no service or anything like that.
