throw-over soft panniers - advice

Before Riossi went to the big bike dealership in the sky I bought a rather smarth set of Givi throwover soft panniers in a fetching yellow colour. has anybody got experience of using soft luggae on a 749/999? I've got a 749S mono and I know that the back end gets pretty warm. Am I likely to melt anything using em?

Best advice is throw away the throw overs and get yourself some Ventura luggage.

AdamT and I recently did a tour of France Italy and switzerland using said luggage without any problems whatsoever.

This kit is fantastic.

I think that they only do the adaptor kit for the 749 and 999 bipostos and not the monos.

Unfortunately Ventura do not make a rack for the 999 monoposto yet , I am eagerly awaiting an e-mail telling me one is ready :(

Had a ventura sytem on my previous 748R , great bit of kit , highly reccomend one.
