Don't know mate but i do sudgest using a BIG HAMMER :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
Technically........ Yes.
The swingarm is located by two collars that go through the arm into the frame. The engine prevents these from coming out, even if the bolt is removed.
There is a way around it, but i'm not sure you'd want to try it and and i'm not sure it should be disclosed in public either :rolleye:

oh well, thats stuffed my idea of taking the swingarm off to get it powder coated :sniff:
is it something to do with prising open the frame?

Gorrit in one. Give that man a coconut. :sing:
That said, from a pure engineering perspective, it's a horrible prospect!
Thinking more about it; the frame doesn't have to be "prised" very far apart to release the swing arm. Said frame is made of steel tubing which as well as being very strong for it's weight, is also fairly flexible, and finally, with the swing arm back in frame, the whole shooting match is clamped up tight again with the engine bolt.
Ya takes yer choice.................
