There has been a rumour doing the rounds on some internet groups that Men & Motors intend to discontinue showing bike programmes. Has anybody any info on this?

I do hope this is true !

All the so-called bike programmes on M&M are a pile of ****e.

All made for about 50p.

Tell a lie - Scratchin' was ok. Rest are rubbish

with the exception of Bikes Aloud and the one about so called biker celebs I find them torrable. I would rather see these than no bike shows at all.
I was actually wondering if anybody had any information on this rather than looking for a review of their programmes

It's either old "havoc" tat or such like or some other dodgy programme etc

The highlight would be a Ms. Braidy

The point is if you don't like the programmes there is no need to watch them. It would be nice however if they continued for those who do want to do so.
I did not intend my reply to appear rude and if it did so then I appologise.

That's a real bugger. It's about the only TV I watch these days apart from the odd film.

Still, looking on the bright side, I won't need to get a full Sky package when I move. Will only need Eurosport for the MotoGP and WSB. That hasn't been cancelled has it? :o

Nothing lost really there then. As mentioned before the programmes are not the best. Although i do like bikes aloud.

But on the whole i can take it or leave it.

That's the point, though, isn't it. There's absolutely nothing on the box about bikes, apart from M & M at certain times. You can tell by the quality of the adverts that viewing figures aren't good, I suppose.

Due to the lack of quality information on TV, I've finally resorted to buying bike mags. Only 6 weeks after I resolved to do exactly that, I've bought my first magazine and it's got an article about the Ducati test route, which I haven't had time to read yet. I was amazed at the range of mags in Smiths. There may not be much on TV about bikes but there's a vast range of journalism about them. It's quite ironic, actually, that us 'moron bikers' are being catered for by magazine journalists far more than TV producers. :P

Anyone fancy pitching a Desmo / DSC focussed TV show to them instead?
American Chopper seems to do well

We could do a pilot on skid's hybrid

Follow Desmo Due through it's inaugural season....

Toptips section from our resident Experts.

Surely Redruth's daughters would be up for presenting :D

Where's me camcorder....

Thats a real ****er - I agree that even shite bike programmes are better than none at all. I usually watch m&m only for the 2 wheeled stuff - At least it helps raise our profile. It's a shame that no-one could be bothered to make a 'Top Gear' for bikes.

Has this been confirmed ?

All the bike programs dissapeared on Monday, but have been back in full force ever since
