Ah bless!!! You are easily confused though!!!
Its the Northernmost of all of the DD tracks this year, and North of where I live!!!
I could go South to get there, but it'll take me a long time to get there.
No go to bed you pi55 head!!!!
Tim;)
Sober as a judge mate, just not sure that amount of Red Bull was a good idea ... I've awoken feeling like I need to be sleeping .. and whilst trying to get to sleep was wide awake .....
The only place south of you though Tim is the Isle of Wight ....

I'm booked for Cadwell on Good Friday. I'm going up there the day before, probably. Not sure if I'm riding up or taking the bike on the new trailer I'm picking up tomorrow. :D:D
The route up there is good fun, so riding up might be a good move. If you're planning to go, Tim, maybe I could put my trackfairings in your van? :sing::sing::sing:

Yep, I'll be there with NO LIMITS on Good Friday 25 March. No need for a days holiday. We're also there on Saturday and Sunday 19 & 20 March. Give us a call on 01727 899173 if you fancy joining me.
New Era SUPERCLUB first championship round is on Sunday and Monday 27 & 28. Make a weekend of it and come and watch Monty and me on the TZ250. It would be a good experience if you have never been around a club race paddock before or have been but never really had to pay attention like you will have to soon!!!
If you were really brave, you could even enter a race - I'm sure you could go in Sound of Thunder, (there are sometimes bikes at the back of the field I can beat on my CB5, so you may not be last, but you may be lapped).
You're going racing.....there's no room for feint heart anymore. Imagine the head start you'll have on the others tee hee, mix, mix. Not long now!!!

Just sent you a U2U WJB. That sounds like fun. Just trying to get my dog booked into kennels so I can get away for the whole weekend.
So, I need to know, will the northern lot be doing a rideout at Easter that I can join in with. May as well get a decent guided bike tour whilst I'm up there. :sing::sing::sing:
KeefyB, you have to show Ruth "The Rollercoaster"!

I've just booked Cadwell April 18th, too.
And Tuesday April 26th Donnington.
And (booked provisionally)
May 9th, Cadwell
11th June, Cadwell
11th July Donnington
19th September Cadwell
So then there's also the 25th July DSC day too plus Brands in October TA5.
I've limited myself to No Limits dates otherwise there would be no excuse for not booking one a week!
:bouncy:
Too many posts - need to get out more - and this is where I shall mainly be going!:roll::lol:

Were at Oulton on the 23rd so wont be booking the day but will try and get the 998 down to see you there boys and girls?
I take it that spectators are OK at track days? I am close enough to Cadwell to take a run over and say hi, but not sure if I am gong to be ready to book a track day myself on Good Friday. Tempting though it is! I'm intending getting a race fairing before going on the track as a bit of "insurance". :)
Henry
spectators are more than welcome henry.
please come and say 'ello... there'll be 3 of us there so far - you'll recognise us: one bloke with half a dozen suited n booted chaps following everywhere he goes, passing salutations such as "sir" or even "m'lord" his way at every opportunity; the other guy will be shaking uncontrolably and pleading for the arrival of mummy after being hung out to dry in the fast group on a m620; then you should find ruthie, you'll spot her easy by the bottle of champers in one hand and easer egg in the other.

No spectator barring at trackdays.
Most trackdays on have a fair few watching for a bit of a day out.
No admission fees and you get to see some of your mates having a hoon round track.
Get ya interested enough to buy that track fairing and give it a go!
YOu know you wanna!

Beat me to it Nick
You're damn right, I do wanna!
Last time went to Cadwell was back in the 80s for the Classic races. Come to think of it, they were almost "current models" then, rather than Classics! :sniff:
If I remember right, the Paddock was like a gravel carpark ( a very poor one at that). Do they have garages etc now? I've seen pics of other tracks days on here with a garage full of bikes. Is that always the case with No Limits?
A good analogy of the paddock at that time was like an autojumble at the BMF!
Henry
They've tarmaced the paddock area at cadwell recently, and there's some bogs which sometimes work. Showers too, if memory serves!
No garages yet.
If there's garages at the venue, then they're always available for use, so seeing a garage full of bikes at somewhere like brands isn't exclusive to no limits. A track day is the best thing you'll have ever done henry, why not get booked up for good friday? You know it makes sense!

Yes Henry. Why don't you? Cadwell is great fun and the No Limits guys, keep things as safe as is humanly possible, IMHO. Also, you get a 10% discount on their prices if you tell them you're a DSC member. Ring Mark at No Limits and get yourself booked in.
WJB (DSC member) is instructing that day, amongst others. Just look out for a very short bloke in some rather scuffed NO LIMITS MJK leathers, speaks with a Scots accent and stands on a chair to be seen at the briefing.

oi :lol::lol:
I resemble that remark!
Careful with the word 'very' short, my daughter is now taller than me which she reminds me about every day by calling me shorty or short arse and the leathers in question have now been repaired and actually say NO LIMITS as opposed to O LIM
Really looking forward to seeing everyone there and getting on the bike again round my favourite circuit. I'll stand on a chair especially for you Ruth, I know your eyesight is not what it used to be - shall I bring a laptop and projector so you can follow the words on the screen:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

OK, I'm convinced. My wife is now telling me I should sign up for it. I'll sort it tomorrow.
Henry :sing:
Well that didn't take much persuasion did it!!
Nice one mate, see you there...
Don't know if you're riding there, but if you are then there'll be plenty in the way of tools and extra fuel to keep you happy. Just bring cakes! Oh, and red wine!
Well ... I should hope not! :)
Besides, she's a joint member of DSC, and rides a 620 Monster, so I'd hope to not have an uphill battle.
Might ride there, not far for us. We've got a folding trailer, which might come along in a car with the (soon to be purchased) race fairing, fuel, cakes, red wine, etc. No idea (yet) how long it takes to swap a fairing. I've never even had the top fairing off :)
Henry :o

Marvellous. Mine's a large glass of red wine.
Oh and WJB, I know that feeling where your daughter is taller than you. Happened to me when Jo was 14. I threatenend to slap, she stood over me, thrust out her chest and said "I'll slap you back". It was at precisely at that moment that I acquired the negotiation skills that I now find so useful!
There's a reason for everything. :bouncy::bouncy:
Right. That's me signed up for Good Friday now.
We might both be riding there, or we might bring the Vitara with trailer stowed in the back. Either way, I'll make sure I pack cakes and red wine! :)
Not bothering with race fairing this time around, has to be less risk than riding on the roads, eh?
What's the deal on fuel for those who ride there? I got the idea from reading other messages that some ride, some drive.
And the red wine references. I assume many are staying there the Friday night? Only those with vans, or camping?
We live south of Cadwell, not too far. 45 miles and just over an hour according to the AA routefinder. If anyone is travelling up some distance and wants a comfort stop (wee break), breakfast, or a previous night stopover then let me know.
Henry
(location: 7 miles east of Grantham, along the A52)
Fuel:
Not available at the circuit on track days. There's a garage (cash only) about a mile or so outside the gate, but I'll be bringing a 20 litre jerry can which should be enough to feed 2 bikes, so if you ride then you're welcome to dig in.
Overnight:
Campling ain't allowed at the circuit any more. Nice of you to offer a stop over but I'm booked into a b&b about 10 mins from the track. Will u2u the name of the gaff if you fancy joining us the eve before?
Wine & cakes:
Sounds like you'll be an asset to the club!!
