BL**DY VENTURA LUGGAGE RACK

I've just wasted a perfectly good afternoon attempting to fit a Ventura luggage rack to my bike.

Part #291 'U' Bracket is the bane of my existance! There's two of them and I think 1 hasn't been made right - forcing the screw into it has made the soft metal twist and now it's even worse.

I just could not get the bloody thing to fit properly. I have a '99 750ss. And I've checked that I've been sent the right parts by Motohaus.

All I succeeded in doing was scratching chunks off my frame tube.

Anyone got any tips and suggestions? Fordie have I seen Ventura luggage fitted to your 900ss ?

Sorry to hear you're having problems with it. NickH had a few problems fitting the racks to his 748. You stand more chance of getting help in "General Messages", wider audience and all.
