Hunter Thompson finally pulled the plug. He kept a lot of us rollicking in the aisles with his complete disregard for propriety, though in the end, that is what he was calling for. His article on riding his 900SS is a classic:

Yup heard this last night on he news, he certainly lived a full and bizzare life, proving that not all americans are unimaginative illiterate redknecks.

ps annette read this and had a go at me! I did not mean all americans are illiterate etc. I meant that his writing started a new trend in journalism(?) and poved that the the trendy liberall view of the american public is complete b*llshite
