Just thought y'all would like to know about a bike cover that I bought for my 996 at the Ally Pally.

They are sold by a small firm called 'Dust Off!' covers, who apparrently make them for a few race teams.

It is elasticated at each end, comes down to ground level and is a really good fit. I bought a red one with 'Ducati' on each side.

The material is waterproof and breathable, so the bike stays nice and dry.

Something of an investment for my money and better than a dust sheet, which absorbs moisture.

Not cheap at £30(normally £35), but cheaper than DP and far superior.

If you went to the Ally Pally, you may remember the stand, it was next to Palm Court and was fronted (arf) by a mature lady of ample accoutrements.

:o

By "ample accoutrements" do you mean she was well stocked?!? :P

Well stocked, yes - they had just the cover i wanted on the shelf and a few more besides :D

In fact, the covers were almost all off, so that most of her wares were on display to the general public:lol:
