biking heaven?

just look at the weather outside and then take a look at this video, - big file 72mb but ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh so sweet. I wanna go live somewhere warm and dry where salt has never touched the asphalt.....

Been there, done that :D

Well, something very much like it anyway. Starting from San Gregorio on the Pacific Highway (Highway 1) about half an hour south of San Francisco then up through redwood tree covered mountains to La-Honda (put the hyphen in myself to prevent the unrecognised word) then up to the top and back down over the mountains to Palo Alto. Fantastic road.

There's always a downside. I was riding a Harley Heritage Softail and scraping the running boards with monotonous regularity while all the sports bikes were zapping past. Saw a few Dukes (all but one of them Monsters) and would've given my back teeth to swap bikes with 'em.
