Hi,
Anybody who knows the Casoli company in UK?
Reason I ask is that I ordered a frontfender over 3 months ago and until now I have not recieved anything. They are very difficult to get to reply my mails. Painterproblems and now it seems like packaged is gone but track and trace says it is delivered Barnet PDO (Casolis place I think). No respond to my mails for the last week.

Why are Casoli so bad?:(
I have never been but was going to go up soon to look at some air tube covers (he seems the only place to actually have them in stock).:puzzled::puzzled::puzzled:
I quite like Casoli, having spent a bit with them so speaking frmo experience. I think they might be a bit unorganised though .. had to jolly then along with a phone call once and they were very apologetic and got the part out straight away. Give them a call.
I've used Casoli quite a lot in the past - at the shop there have been no probs at all, courteous and helpful, and their stuff is pretty much top notch. But away from the premises it's a different story..e-mails go unanswered, and I got sent the wrong part when it was ordered through thier website. I would definitely still get parts from them, but only in 'person'.

Apart from S/S clutch springs and some truly excellent Ti bits I have had no cause for complaint about Cassoli.
By the way their TI wheel nuts are the best quality I have seen.

Well,
Thank´s for all replies.
Unfortunately I cannot go by the store, and unfortunately I have paid in advance so I can only hope you are right that they are OK but a little unorganised, but still we are talking over 3 month, and when I orderd I was told 3 weeks. So if one of you guys know them personly you maybe could drop an e-mail about this unhappy danish customer.
Uffe
get them on the phone mate and ask for Dave Miles or Mills. tell him you get either your goods within the week or you want your money back. Dont take any c**p. Goods or money or you will send over Ricky and he can baffle him with his double Dutch.;) keep us posted.

Well, maybe someone told them about this forum, because I have just got a e-mail that the fender has been send by UPS and the reason why the postman has returned it was 3cm to big. So in 2-3 days I will be smiling again(I hope)

Have just got my frontfender from Casoli with UPS - Great Stuff - Nice paintwork.
Also evidence included that Royal Mail has returned package sent on 11th. february because it was 3cm too big, so not all Casoli´s fault. Dave from Casoli called me just now and was very sorry about the hole thing and explaining what has gone wrong from I placed my order in December 2004 and until now, agreed that information to me could be better and more precise. No bad fiellings from boths of us, and thats -
End of story...

Whenever I have had something sent by Casoli , it is always the post / courier / customs fault.
Interestingly last time they slipped up and admitted they had only "sent it out yesterday" and then two weeks later "sorry , it's not in stock".
I can well believe that direct shopping with them is a joy ... but I wouldn't use them for on-line /postal stuff ....
Try www.spareshack.com next time

I poped into casoli today to get some bits for my bike and I mentioned to dave about your post. He actually showed me the paperwork and indeed the package was oversized by 3mm, a mistake by the post office.
It was then sent to belfast, so no wonder you had a delay.
Your mudguard cost about £150.00 casoli paid around £70.00 in delivery costs through no fault of thier own so I would say thats more than good service. Ime sure your happy with the product all there products are of the highest quality

Sort of on the sugject or carbon, I bought an S1 style unit for the Buell from RRC in Germany. Stunning quality and 100% real carbon.
Only does Harley and Buell bits, but polite , efficient and friendly service ... and he struggles with English !!!

I was in the same time as Wosser and Dave showed me exactly the same. after Wosser had left.
First time I have been to Casoli, found Dave to be really helpful and gave me a cracking deal on a new filler cap (£35 off and a bit of Vat so saved over £40).
From the packaging etc he had I don't think there is blame on his part, I know you said you didn't get joy with emails but perhaps a phone call may have solved the problem?

First of all, I´m not trying to ruin anybody´s bussiness, but as told, I ordered in November 2004 (and paid). The reasson for my worry was the no or poor information to the situation from Casoli. You know, it is ok to have deliveryproblems whatever it is the painter og mailservices, but you have to inform the customer promp to the situation. In my case I do not know the company, and I am a bit far away to make them a visit, that´s why I posted this post. Yes you are right - it good Q products and I´m glad that the problem is solved.:)

jp that was me regarding selling my seat without asking me, thats why i see red when I see/hear the word Casoli, they put a poxy suede one on instead thinking i would like it, they put brembo clutch/brake master cylinders on but when i got home i found that i could rotate both, they hadnt tightened them up. Very dangerous. The mechanic isnt trained. then Dave said "I hope this doesnt stop you coming down here adam, f***ing right it does. Dont get me going about Casoli:flame::flame::flame::flame::mad::flame::mad :
