I've been skulking around these notice boards for a while now, thought i'd finally take the plunge and actually ask a question....ahem: i'm looking for a seat conversion for my 749 Dark that isn't going to cost me a testicle or a kidney.. Any advice?
:puzzled:

Unfortunately my liver has been sautéing in red wine for too many years to be worth much. Arms and legs.... that's something to think about!

Do you really need a carbon fiber mono tail??
No wonder you say it costs a lot of cash....

BTW.... i'm new to the ducati world also, but form what i've read you'll need more than just that tail to do a bi to a monoposto conversion, so beware and inform yourself first.

Use the forum search option, there has been a couple of threads on this subject.
What seat conversion are you looking for?A clip-on cover for the pillion seat or a full monoposto conversion?
There are a number of options to replace the bip seat, however if you want the "proper" monopsto then you will need a new rear subframe as well as the seat unit.:o

have a look on post 'L.E.D. lights'
my bikes on there with a cover from carbon world.
several of the lads on this site have brought them and they were all pleased.
