Did you get your panels sorted out yet? Duct tape is worth it's weight in gold, isn't it? Have fun. And try to keep it sunny side up this time.

RR,
Sorted thanks on a temp basis.

Ducsoon,
Got a few booked there as well as others, check out the site in my signature for dates and locations?

Roll on wednesday and a new track.
Never ridden this one before at all so will be a vigin track.
Circuit guide shows lots of sweeping corners and a few tighter ones to throw in the mix, cant wait!

Ducsoon?

There are quite a few trackday companies here, I would say if you were that way inclined you coud do trackdays every day of the week for at least 6 months if you had the money.

Oulton Park usually runs 2 a week from now until October for example

Wow........ :o i'm jealous :(
You lucky *******s.

Here you have like 2 or 3 track days a year with luck.
It was better some years ago but now it just sucks.
That's why i gave up on having a track bike (i had two).
I also raced in an amateur class (just for fun) and was planning to race this year too, but with the accident i had last November and this steel bar on my leg i can't kneedrag on the right corners (for now :D) so i had to quit this year. :flame:

How much do you pay for a track day there, in average?
And how many sessions of how many time do you have?

Duc

Track days vary in price hugely depending on the circuit and time of year. I guess the average for a good track in summer is around 150 quid.

Normally get about 7 20 minute sessions through the day

150 is a bit more than you pay here, but for 7 sessions of 20 minutes it's worth it.
Here we usually just have like 4 sessions of 30 minutes.
But to have those many options is just great.
Consider yourselfs lucky :)

i reckon 30 minutes may be too much for me. i struggle to make 7 sessions at 20 mins a go, especially early in the year. I need to build up some wrist strength and general fitness for bike riding.

I hear you and i agree.
Not in track days, but in race pace i usually get too tired after 30 minutes.

Well just popped over to see Old Yella and see how he was getting on, Hmmm bike in a few bits looks like the clutch slave has given up the ghost, but he's upright and the bike is technically in one piece, me thinks it's held together with grime and chain loob :P

Nice and warm over there again, and plenty of smiles so all is well, good to meet up again anyways.

Good to see you all today.

Mr C, JPM, Jagsti and the blushing bird Lil.

There was some mighty fine tackle there today Ducati wise.
Most memorable was Dean Ellisons old BSB bike from a few years ago, 996RS I believe.

Plenty of quick boys about in the fast group with an R6 cup runner out there practising but did not get a name.

Lots of race boys out getting practise time in and a few of them in the Inters as the fast must have been booked up?

As for the bag incident>>>>

Lil, you set me up and me being so kind I did as you bid me to and then you took a pic of it!
I should have at least emptied your purse while I was at it???

Next time you can stick yer handbag up yer *$$ :P :P :P

Not sure about the Green Tyre warmers though!!
You know what the say: Yellow and Green shouldn't be seen!!!

I've decided im defo going to have to do a track day and stop worrying about stuffing it.

First time out at Oulton and what a hoot.

Track is wider than a motorway and needs to be in some places.
Felt comfortable after the second session and was well on my way to learning the track in the fourth session when I found I was unable to change down for Lodge, after nearly filling my pants I managed to get back to the pits where I could not find my spare slave cylinder and had to sit out the last three sessions, hey ho, least I was home before darkness settled in.

Found my spare today and fitted it but it also had a split seal so called Festa748 up to rob him of his spare slave which worked after a seal swap.
Clutch now sorted but need to find where the oil leak is from now??????

Hope its not too serious as I am booking for the 7th April at Croft so need it a ok for then.

Mr C,
As you have a red one colour schemes are not your strong point so leave it to us more flamboyant yella owners to extend the boundaries of colour matching and you lot stay with yer many variants of red :P :P :P
