Don't know if you saw this thread, bossingit,

but I'm getting some kits together for these. As the screens have large-ish slotted holes, I'm planning on adding in a larger diameter plain washer to fit next to the screen, then the o-ring, then ordinary washer and nyloc nut.
Post here or U2U me if you're interested.

Aren't they summat mad like nearly £5 EACH!!!!!!
I used M4x12 Stainless Button Head screws nylon washers from an online model makers suppliers and held everything togeter with Nyloc nuts so I didn't over tighten. No Well Nuts, no drilling and no hassle. I even replaced all the ones on the fairing as well.
Where did you get them from Mike?
I got a complete kit from pro-bolt, i think they were about £15 for the set, they do all colours and fit and look perfect.

Same here - bought the pro-bolt Ducati kit in black and they're no different from the originals except they cost a hell of a lot less and you can buy different colours.
Just make sure you get the right kit. I ordered through Busters and they sent a generic 8-piece screen kit rather than the Ducati specific one (SKDUC9) I ordered. Probably best to order direct from Pro-Bolt:

PS. Nice to meet you on Saturday and hope you get an engine cover sorted :D

The Pro-Bolt ones aren't exactly the same, in that the oem Ducati ones are a Torx head and the Pro-Bolt ones are Allen key head, but you do get a nice new allen key in the kit too!
I liked them so much I replaced the side fairing ones and also the dzus with black ones too :D

They still use well-nuts, though?
The stock screws are fine, if you have the right driver. It's the well-nuts that are the problem.

OK, I have finally got this together. I've taken some time lately to source some nylon washers; the ones I had got at first were a bit big, and showed quite a noticeable ring of white around the outside of the screw head. It was pointed out to me that some people might find that unsightly. So now I have managed to obtain some which are slightly smaller outside diameter. In fact, they're the same as the stock Ducati ones.
So, the screen kits do indeed include a large diameter stainless steel washer, as mentioned above.
This not required for the fairing kits, where the O-ring will got direct against the inside of the panel.
So I've got a couple of screen sets and a couple of fairing sets together initially.
I'm going to say £12 for the screen sets and £15 for the fairing sets.
So whaddya say? U2U me if interested.
Don't all rush at once!
got to say ive used pro bolt kits on my 2 400's and i wont spend a penny of my money on their kits again
the red is more like purple, the finish of the screen screws is awful, the fairing kit fitted terribly and i just dont like them
i think its just under £6 per bolt for genuine ducati
but if you take them off carefully you wont need to spend any money
