Hi,
I expect this has been batted around before....but here we go again.
I would like to raise my handlebars up.
What kits are reccomended and what are the implications eg longer brake hoses, clashing with fairing etc..
Any photos of bikes that have been modified would be appreciated.
Cheers
Rich

Lots of posts on this in the past. These are the ones that I've found with a quick scan. Also do a search for posts by iconic944ss.

Hi all- long time, no post. Working on my Lambretta project at the mo'.:o
I really want to do this handlebar mod on my ie. Every ride leaves me knackered & depressed at how close to being a good bike it is.
The Heli ones look good but I don't know if the result would be worthwhile. I'm considering modifying the fairing to allow clamps on the top yoke...
I'm going ahead with this; I'm using risers that clamp around the fork tops and I'm modifying the fairing and subframe so the bars clear. More info & pics when I've made a start.
I got some risers off ebay today- 45mm instead of 50 so i'll have to get them machined, but they were £10.50 as opposed to £65...
OK,
The Heli bars look simple enough to fit.
I think the extra rise, plus moving them back by 1.5" would be ideal!
Has anybody fitted them? Do they foul the fairing or require any other mods?
Not sure about buying from the usa... what does $239 work out after postage, import duties etc...
