Hi all,

My wife (I suppose somewhat understandably) doesn't fancy being pillion on the 748 so I am wondering about running a second cheap touring hack that has a slightly more generous seating arrangement.

Not bothered about model, performance etc. just something that is comfy to ride two up.

Only got about a grand. Any recommendations?

Cheers

Early VFR? I think you'll be struggling for something worth touring on for a grand. Could scrape an early VTR for 2 grand.

What about a (probably high mileage) BM K75 or K100.

Had to get a second runabout to ferry my good lady. I settled for a 94/95 vintage triumph sprint. Well comfy and sounds ok as tripples do, and will easily eat miles. Paid about 1600 but have seen a lot for less of late.
