View Full Version : Saturday for shopping?
Most women go shopping for make-up/handbags/clothes & the like with their mates....... me, I pop out for an hour with my hubbie today.......
well, thankyou dear Stuart at Spareshack, you quite ruined my day:mad:
All I do is accompany Alan on a quick whizz up to you, to pick up a wee part for the desmo bike - and you just had to do it eh?
I am usually banned from shopping (Ducati stores & the lke) but completely forgot to leave my credit card at home on this trip......:rolleye:
Suffice it to say, that wicked Stuart;) MADE me get that credit card out & buy bling for my bike!:o - and not just one bit - but a couple or more:D
Bang goes any 'emergency' assistance AK needs for the desmo bike, but her majesty is looking a bit more twinkly:D:D
C, a happy shopper really:smug::smug::devil:
Well? What did you get then??
If the weather is nice tomorrow - I'll show you when I pop over:D
AK is just fitting the last bits now:D:D:D
Prettttttty:ninja:
has mark made your dd exhaust yet c he made a lovely job of mine i know some of the lads thought it was pricey but anyone who's seen it thought it cost alot more than it did. i did'nt leave his workshop till 1am that morning tho.
Unfortunatley not yet - Mark is at Thruxton this w/end.
But he has the 3 bikes to get done by the end of the week (ours, DLS & DCentral's bikes :o )
They have made a start tho:)

Very nice!!
And I know the feeling!! My saturday involved parting with lots of cash for my bike. I did want to go girly shopping as well but after seeing more stuff for bike i need to adjust my plans :)
But i do have newly painted bodywork, new tyres, new clutch and my eye on a few other accessories :)
Lily, I've been hankering for a steering damper for quite a while, and with the road conditions improving in the last few weeks, I was getting to the point I really needed one.
I didnt want carbon (just not 'me') so when I saw that - I just had to have it - and having tested it out today - it really does the job too:D - have got quite a lot of 'clicks' to play with, too:D
The belt covers were a 'last min chuck in' job - not cheap - but again, I really hated the grey plastic covers.
Red-Leader reckons I should get little lights set inside, so they flicker as the belts go round:o I think that is a bit too chav for me, but maybe he might go down that road - eh Kev??:lol:
