My 999 came with pilot race but changed them to the powers probably the best move , i have done 1000 miles or so and they look as good as new but more importantly have good grip and for me at least inspires confidence - not tried them in the wet but have been told they are ace.

I had the pilot sports on a S4,absolutly hated them!Put diablos on and it transformed it.Currently got BT014 on the 888,previously had Evo`s they were OK,been dissapointed with the 014`s,feel slippery:puzzled: seem to work well on the Gixers,as they`re fitted as standard.I`ve heard good reporrts about the Powers, but daren`t try `em after the experiance with the sports.

Just had these fitted this morning.

wasn't impressed by the Pilot Sports that came with the bike so changed the front as well as the rear for these new Powers. Could have got a better deal on Bt's or Diablos but have read some excellent press feedback on these, time will tell.

Keep me informed on the performance of the powers please jobr, just got quoted £205 for `em fitted (ride in),is that reasonable?

Sparkin sounds spot on mate.

I could have had Diablos or BT's cheaper but having read a few reports on these new Powers went for them instead.

Initial impressions are these are a big leap forward from the Pilot Sports that the bike came with.
Perhaps need to mess about a bit with pressures but overall so far delighted.

I had another BT014 fitted to the rear today, the first one lasted 2000miles,I would had had a pair of powers but the front still has a few thou left in it,couldn`t justify throwing it away.

Had the same thing when I got the nail in the rear last week. Front had only done 600 miles (new bike) but am now glad I did what i did even though her indoors wasn't impressed.

I concur. I've had two sets of Pilot Sports on the Mille. Never liked them. Switched to Pilot Power and they are a revelation. I'll being switching the 999 over asap.

Just got my S4r and these tires feel good only done a few miles but they seem to stick real well, even touching them they feel sticky:lol:

I love the tread pattern to makes the tire look real wide, just hope they work well in the wet to:D
