Yep, I'm mentally prepared for the first DD race....

My race preparation is - camping chair at that little spectator area near the bottom of the mountain, feet up with a burger in one hand and a Stella in the other watching you lot pile the brakes on into the chicane

Errr....I have the positive mental attitude bit sorted.....just need an engine that works, bodywork thats not knackered and a prayer for putting it all back together!!! Looking at the positives though...the bikes now about 100 kilos under the weight limit. Looking forward to going racing, its gonna be fun!!!!

I never am ready other than to have some fun and enjoy myself, racing is far more enjoyable when you don't get to wound up about it.

Should be a fun day out at cadwell... I just wish we were allowed mirrors so I could see what everyone's up to.

Should have time to stop by Jool's pitch for a coffee on the way to my victory.

I would think thats the last thing you'd want going in to turn 1 :o

Some thoughts from the 'other Aussie'.

Mental preparation - kummbyaaa, all together!!!!

First corner - I see two dilema's / choices, brake early and avoid the carnage or brake late to avoid the carnage???

Then - do you block the inside line or sweep around the outside line.

Jools - Please set up video camera at your preffered viewing spot!

I am using my proven method of mental preperation, I will think about it on the grid for race 1 :puzzled:, at least I will sleep at nights.

"How's your mental preparations?"

Fcuking Mental.

Trying to keep the bugger running for more than 3 mins is an acheivement, getting to the grid will deserve a podium place, and if I finish a race I'm going to bathe the bike and myself in a bottle of ice-cold bubbly (fosters, that is!).

Thankfully I appear to be surrounded by decent, helpful people who are far more capable than I, something that won't be the case on the grid......:P

Cheers,

Ali
