I am thinking of moving on from the standard rear sprocket and onto a quick release option.

I know that renthal do a kit, but does anyone know of a different manufacturar just so i can compare prices etc??

I am after the full kit Chain, Rear Sprocket and carrier aswell as front sprocket

Thanks in advance

Rob

Talon Engineering

Alan at AJ racing supplies them as own brand, I've got one fitted, as has bradders.

Another plus point about the Renthal carrier is that it uses replaceable studs to secure sprocket which are long enough to use a nyloc nut.

All the other carriers I've seen are drilled and tapped so you have the potential problem of sprockets comming loose (not unknown) and if you happen to strip one of the threads it's new carrier time.

Renthal every time!

Think my mind has been made up, not too good on this type of stuff so help is appreciated

Just ordered chain and renthal sprocket/carrier from B&C Express. Ordered it last night on line and they even phoned me this morning to confirm availability and tell me it will be here tomorrow. Excellent service.

FWIW

I have the STM gear on my 748R.

One thing you need to look for is if the carrier has the 'lugs' that prevent the cush drives from backing out into your hub eccentric.

The STM one does...

As do the Renthal carriers.
