I recently mullered ny front fairing bracket that was fitted to the 748 and need a replacement arm.
Unfortunately Skidlids does not know the manufacturer of the unit as it was second hand when he got it.
I will post pics tonight to see if you can help to determine the make of it so I can check for spares availability.

Failing that does anyone know a manufacturer/seller of a cheap unit or has one for sale? :(

B&Q and a brazing torch should suffice, eh.

Geoff I know Louigi makes a metal one and I think A&R sell them, they may have one on their truck at Cadwell.

as for that Polyester Fibre one all I can remember about it was that it was manufactured in Spain

Cheers for the comments Felix/Ray now go play with a train :frog:

Its as strong as old boots is the gear, some sort of polyester fibre resin backed ????
Only snapped cos the 748 landed on it upside down!
IOt is only the arm thats snapped though but I might be able to fix it if I could find a good enough repair kit?

Skids
Tried some searches on www but to no avail.
I have found the Vortex one and it works out at less than £90 to buy , just waiting for postage costs to come through now.

Do you know Louigis web addy? Louigimoto or?

What about this one Geoff, seems you can replace the arms in the event of a crash ;)
