The 620 boys are probably fed up to the back teeth hearing me winge about the huuuuge power defecit, so here's something to bring a smile to your face, me binning it after making it past tp & CB!

Out-braking Mr Late Brakes himself (TP) into the hairpin:

http://www.centricaconsulting.com/dd/lap7.mov (8Mb)

And out-braking Chris 'Axe-Murderer' Butcher only to give it handful over the crest:

http://www.centricaconsulting.com/dd/lap8.mov (32Mb)

Bugger! To finish first etc....

All credit to Fordie for nice bit of video work, you should sell it to Eurosport. Full report shortly.

Cheers,

Ali

Well done Fordie, great videos!

I may be biased but I think that was a great move you put on me into the hairpin - I must try harder.

The second video - you can see me and Chris tipping in, and then the padding move and only me come out  then I'm out and you go over!

Respect for the way you rode the third race after that - well done mate!

There's about Ten more snippits of the Racing but it would take all day to down load them. Is there any way that the files can be " shrunk". 4D

Not really. You can reduce the quality using a variety of programs, but I don't suppose you spent a decent wedge on a camera only to churn out rubbish video! Best bet is to put them all in a folder and use WS FTP to upload them overnight. I'll u2u you some new server details, should be a bit quicker.

Cheers,

Ali

Mine did that the first time, then I checked the size of the file and it was much smaller than the file I was trying to download.

I deleted them and downloaded again - sweet.

But you should be using the quicktime player Paul - they are .mov files.

Paul, They are Quick Time Movie files downloaded straight from my Minolta A2 Digital Camera . I also took them at the slower 30fps instead of the 15fps normal rate. I will try and put some more up with a program Ali sent me . 4D

I'm not sure I understand how 30fps is slower than 15fps Fordie ???

To do slow speed photograpy you need more frames per second passing through the shutter than at normal speed. This will then slow down the action with out getting any jerking, that why when you see a nature shot of humming bird in slow mo its taken at some thing like 1000 frames per second. Confusing 4D

Alright, own up!

At the very moment that Ali's bike decides it doesn't like him anymore and spits him off, there is a high pitched voice that squeals "Ohhhhh Noooo!"

Who is it? Cos it's not me.....honest!
