Present needed - but what to buy? Non bike post.

Don't get excited - not a bike post.

I need to buy a present for an 8 year old who is having his 1st Holy Communion shortly.

Fresh out of ideas.

There are some Google sites with Bibles, chains, etc, but with maybe £100 to spend, I wanted something non-disposable and non-2005 that will last.

C'mon, any bright ideas?

A copy of Philip Pullman's 'His Dark Materials' trilogy. Essential reading for any young theologian. :)

More into footy, tennis, snooker and footy. Did I mention Footy?!

More a teenager thing.
Also want it to a possesion he can keep - a first, signed copy might be a different kettle-o-fish however.
