I was topping up the oil on my ST4S today and, of course, it is pretty awkward without removing the lower fairing panel. However, I found if you take one of those plastic nozzles which you get with the big tubes of silicon sealant, etc , cut a reasonable size opening in the end and stick it on the end of the extended filler you can reach the oil filler no problem and top up no problem.
Hope someone else finds this useful,
You obviously missed my idea last year HRH. 1 litre milk container-the plastic one, cut it down the side so that you have the 'handle' part of the container attached. You now have a shallow tray with a long narrow pipe attached which nicely reaches the oil filler-it works for me ;).

Hi Guys isnt it easier with a small funnel and a bit of hose from the garden
