Platinum spark plugs?
Has anyone used these?
Does it make any difference?

Why not ask Brent, he brought a pair of them from me (at work) this week for his late 748 & says it seems to be running fine.

We run iridium in all our bikes, from the old snotty Jap bikes, to the 3 monsters.

As Alan says - I replaced some worn out champions with NGK platinums, and they are fine so far. Haven't had a chance to really get them hot yet though!

I have to say, nothing significant yet compared to the champions when they were OK. They may well be a bit better when I get a chance to thrash it on a longer run (which could have been what did for the old ones last weekend!).

My reason for replacing the plugs wasn't for any power increase, it was just that I had a 748 single on idle..... :D

Throttle response is good though.
