Is British Eurosport on Freeview? If so I'll cancel my sky subscription

It's the "free to view" channels on satellite, which includes British Eurosport, and not "FreeView" channels which are digital terrestrial ie, through an aerial).

Yes sorry mean't to say "Free to view", I thought British Eurosport was encrypted & was considering going back to the old analogue if still working, cos I'm a tight git.

Will this box pickup the BBC & ITV channels via satelite? i don't think it will as these are not free to view, or are they?

You used to be able to get cards from ITV or the BBC when they first went onto satellite to decrypt their channels. I believe these were free but you might now have to pay for them.

These give you access to all the UK digital channels that you get free through your aerial.

I'm sure with some intarweb surfing and research you'll be able to find out how to get Eurosport through it as well. Probably!
