View Full Version : I've finished my Baines Imola and it looks like this....
Sexy eh?
The story of the build will be in this week's MCN (May 25 issue) if anyone is interested.
(and yes, the club does get a mention!)

Was the file too big maybe? Limit is 1MB for attachments, and I might be wrong (sorry webteam if I am) but I think it doesn't warn you it is too big just doesn't upload it. Save as a jpg file if you can as they are MUCH smaller.

That was a much funnier response though ... nice one! :D

How did you display the picture, as an attachement, or as a link form another site hosting the picture?
Henry, off my damn toes :P
[Edited on 24-5-2005 by SeanW]

Must be the dissapearing man - soon to be the invisible man
If you want to email me, I'll host and post for you?

There should be no issue at that size. Try again posting it.

Spooky, he's reappeared !!
success!
I changed the filename to be shorter and without any spaces - seems to have worked.
Worth the wait?

There's a Northants meeting tomorrow evening in Thrapston (would like to go myself but away on business)
Any good ?
I saw one that had been done in the silver and blue at the BMF on the weekend. It had Baines Imola project stickers on the screen - looked VERY sweet. It was on the michelin stand I think.
Yours looks good too - well done.

Sean - give it a good run to Castle Combe on the 4th June;)
How far is Gunthorpe Bridge from you? That's the Notts area meet 2nd Tuesday (and often 4th Tuesday) at the Unicorn.
Here's a map link

Sean,
That is one tasty piece of work. You must be well chuffed.
If you've got some hi res pics, I'd appreaciate copies by mail.
Ta, Rob
That looks really cracking - just like the old 750 Sport. I'd have gone for black and gold myself 'cause I used to have one but that looks really great.
What does it sound like with those Contis? They used be fecking loud.

FAN-tastic!.....sure you will make a few people jealous with that. Look forward to the MCN article.
It's YELLOW!
Seriously, very nice mate! Send a picture to the webteam, and it will get on the homepage (you'll have to wait you're turn bit of list going on at the moment). But if you do, it will get on there soon. The better they are, nearer the top they go!

Sean, it's at the Bridge Hotel in Thrapston, anytime after 7pm.
Please don't ask me where it is, I've never been.
See the thread entitled "Northants meet" posted by Butch890 (probably in Rideout/Meet forum).

Dave, BMF will be up until Castle Combe, and if we get some decent pics from there, then they will go up first, as it's topical in Desmo Due Racing featuring the Ducati Sporting Club :frog: There are a few yet, and Nigel's picture will go back up, as it made, oh all of 3 hours  because of the bmf
Very nice :cool::cool:
Not heard anything from my insurance company yet but if they say the superlight,s a cosmetic right off i know what I,ll be doing :D
Fantastic Sean, that looks really cool.
Rutland eh?.....
The Beds, Herts and Cambs region are often up and around the Oakham, Uppingham, Melton area.....watch out for BHC rideouts on the board.

Great idea Screwy - but they're not cheap those Baines kits
Hope you're on the mend
Jeeez your not wrong , £4000 odd as of October last year :o , a bit rich for my taste,s in all honesty .
Thanks BC getting some movement back in the shoulder now , my ribs still hurt like hell though :(
Paul
on me way home tomorrow...
PS, whoever it was that asked earlier, yes those pipes are loud - and putting the baffles in doesn't seem to make the slightest difference.

That`s stunning mate!I considered doing one of them before I bought the T8 but at £4000 just for the kit,I reckon I`d have to spend nearly 10K to get the look and performance I wanted:o
Sean, that bike sure is purdy,be great to see it at Thrapson.
Here's one on the Michelin stand at this years BMF Show.
Another pic from the other side.
