View Full Version : Changes to the motoGP rules....will they copy in the real world?

Well the motogp bikes are going to become 800cc in 2007, do you think the real world will follow. When you look at a new road going K5 gsxr, thatll do 132mph in second gear, you wonder. what about Ducati going back to a 800cc superbike, that would be spooky.

What if they get rid of the 125, 250 and replace it with a 400cc and 600cc, couldnt you get excited at a 400cc ducati twin putting out say 100bhp, that would tickle my sack.

Except the R1, which runs an engine so similar to the M1 it'd be breaking the rules of MotoGP if it were any closer.

Firing order, crank etc are different, but being copied in BSB now, so they will filter down.

Honda developing a V5 for the road

Ducati developing a V4 for the road


But 800cc bikes, I doubt it. We're all obsessed with size anyway..
