Mornin all,

Right, after a days thrash there yesterday the crashin' odds are:

Riches : 10/1
Sear : 3/1
Esses (L) : 15/1
Esses (R) : 5/1
Bombhole : 20/1
Corum : 10/1
Russell (R) : 15/1
Russell (L) : 8/1
Pit Lane : 15/1
Engine Expires : Evens
Finishing the race : 100/1

The bookies are forcasting me going down in the 18th minute.... :o Excellent. :D

Camping

There's so much camping space at Snet, we could have an acre each! Can whoever gets there first please make sure they camp somewhere with loads of grass and loads of tarmac, that way those that want to camp together can do so. Should be quiet as a church mouse there as I'm sure the KRC lot won't turn up to watch our track day!

Finally, thanks to TP for the lift there and back, and to Dickie for the B,B&B (Bed, Beer & meat-fest BBQ! :D )

Cheers,

Ali

I'm going for Russel (left), on lap 6.

Hrmm .. dunno, I found it hard to get out of Russell (L) so you can get power onto that straight, I'm tipping you'll stay on because you have to!

Highside or a lowside? I've always seen it as a highside corner, but a guy did a stunning lowside tanksplat right in front of me yesterday, so I might revise my opinion.... And lap 6 seems a bit early?

I'm arriving Thursday evening at Snetterton for the trackday on Friday. Hopefully we can bag a nice spot before the KRC crews arrive.

The evens on the engine expiring worries me :o Noooo not my Max :(

i can see a few bikes and/or riders throwing in the towel or at least really flagging towards the end of the race.
even my 620 gave up on revett straight yesterday ( probably all those 1.15 laps!)

20 odds laps at over 90 mph average will take its toll.

Parking?

Best get in contact with Lin (Phoenix), Ali - she is going on the Thurs night - to do the ACU day on the Friday:o

Somebody give her the flag to take with her - unless anyone else is going then?

We are aiming for fri early eve arrival.

Nooo :o poor Max :(

He'll have new oil and filter and different plugs for this event then he's got a month off to recover. I do hope I don't kill him, i'd be devastated :sniff:

Yes CK - a flag would be good :)

Folks

Timing is still being worked on to try and shorten the day so that people can get home at a reasonable time. I hope to have more news tail end of today or 1st thing tomorrow. Current objective is for racing to be finished by 16.00.

Get home??:puzzled:

I thought everyone would be staying the Sat night for a barbie and to support the start of the KRC event? If you think I'm driving home after 5 TD sessions and a race you're joking!

I'm with Ali - not a chance of me driving home after Friday-Sat-Race etc :o

I'll either be drowning my sorrows or celebrating on sat night - no driving for me.

I'd be KNACKERED anyway!

I thought we were supposed to provide marshals for the endurance event. Is that not the case now?

it all seems very much up in the air at the moment but i would assume not due to it only being a 6 or 8 hour now.

I'll stay there Sat night as well.

It's a good opportunity to improve my English. I mean if I can understand you after a few beers, I'll be in the good way. And if I can't, I'll keep drinking until I feel any improvement.

A heady mix of the French and English languages brought on by the unlimited consumption of French wine and English beer without moderation!

Folks,

I dont know if you had realised that the endurance race is now an 8 hour one on the Sunday, there will be nothing going on race wise until about 09.00 Sunday morning. By the same token the endurance paddock will be wanting an early "quiet" night on the Saturday.

The thinking behind trying for a 16.00 finish for DD is that for those who would like to get home they can in reasonable time, for those that wish to stay they can start drinking 2 hours earlier. Everyone is a winner!
