hi -
sold my 748E but due to my the area I've moved back to (North London - home to all manner of tea leafs), it looks like I may not be getting the 748R I had my heart on. After losing an R6 to the 'local community' a few years ago, I think the 748R may be too much of a temptation, as it will be ungaraged.

To the point already!!!
My mate owns a M900 and he's suggested I look at getting a Monster instead. Thing is, after years of sportsbikes I can't get used to the sit-up riding position.
Can you put clip-ons on a Monster and adjust it, to make it feel more sportsbikey?

Apologies for my blatant ignorance!
Cheers

You can put clip-ons on a monster go to www.ducatimonster.org or the ukmoc website.

I have seen loads of posts on clip-ons from cycle cat etc.

Rizoma do a nice bar/crown that angles down like a clip on but is slighly higher than fastening around the fork leg.

if clipons are too low you could try some renthal bars which are a bit lower than std. i use them on my DD race bike as some others do and they are fine.

Yes yes yes. All monsters should have clip-ons. Charlotte is right. I had some on my old 600 and they were great. I only wish I could find some good ones for my 1000. Clip ons are the way forward.

Dunno about that. It's all about finding the right height. I tried a set of clipons on my monster racebike and they were too low so I went back to the renthal bars.

If I could try a set of clipons that were an inch and a half higher than the ones I tried I reckon they'd be perfect.

I also thought the ones I tried would be perfect ...

TP I have a set of Rizoma clip ons in the garage that have been fitted but never used. They weren't right for me. They'll fit a 620 but not a 600 monster. You can give them a go if you want. I'd post a picture here but I don't know how. If you go to www.rizoma.com and look for part code PA202D you'll be able to see what they look like. It's up to you.

Cheers,

Doug
