:puzzled: Hi I think you are the chap that talked me into joining at the BMF - I was awaiting delivery of my S2R. I'm really pleased with it and hubby and I will be coming along to spectate - hope it stays dry! Maria.

Welcome Maria, I'll have a nice tall cold glass of water :)

We hope it stays dry too, I don't really want to be racing in a thunderstorm!

What you need is a line of old corks on bits of string hanging round the edge of your crash helmet to scare the nasty lightning away cobber ;)

Alternatively, try replacing the corks with similar size lumps of plastic explosive, phials of nitrogylcerine, or my personal favorite, delicious cocktail sausages.....:D

ps: If you choose the latter then feel free to fill the brake and clutch resevoirs with ketchup and hp respectively for dunkin'.

All of the above should provide sufficient distraction to ensure you forget about the top three gears, allowing me to march past on those long lonely straights.
