Seems Donington don't do bike test days as such unless i can't find anything relevent.
They do their own ''trackattack'' days instead. The one available is Friday 12th August.
It's £135.00 :o and 15 min sessions with 98 db limit but it also says race cans are not allowed :puzzled:
Surely it's gonna be full of race bikes seeing as New Era are there the next day ?
Anyway - anyone else going ?

(Dear Bank Manager - Yes of course it's essential)

We are doing a track day on the 2nd of August with FE.

It doesn't say quiet day on the program.

2nd august is a 105db limit.

Go on lin, still a few spaces left.

Thought it would save me going up twice TP - I may need a rethink here but i'll ask on the new era site see what they say later.

Gonna be busy for me again then by looks of it - I'm at Pembrey on the 8th August as well

Exactly :o
I know my bike reads 96 now so thats within the 98 limit but it's the ''no race cans'' bit that worries me.

Might be more fun doing the 2nd though - choices choices daddy or chips !

Its my local track and is always expensive!!!

The noise limit is very, very strict..... I was on a trackday recently listed 'quiet day' and any bike with a race can was pulled-in. Before that I even got pulled in on my 900ss, hence I used standard cans ever since!!

Also a quick note, your tyres will shred the right side as all the fast bends are right handers.

Enjoy...

Andy

I'm booked in with 100% on Friday the 5th - it's a full noise day for £149 and gives me a bit of time to fix anything that I might break...

I think I will be there the 12th of August. I need to find standard cans first...

yeah but just like Lin, I don't want to go there several times...

keeping low my travelling budget is one of my priority (with finishing in front of you for the next race :D ).

Decided to keep the pennies in the bank on this one now. I'm doing Pembrey on the 8th and it seems to me no matter how much time I spend on a track it makes little difference to me and how fast I dare go :)
