With all respect Chris, that was you not the circuit. Go on bury your fears;)
I would do it myself if I hadn't just wasted £200.00 plus on a so called bike school:(

Couldn't agree more Jon, its just the wife has a major aversion to the place. I mentioned it in passing to her and I think that the reply was something along the lines of "...no fecking way are you going near that place" so that's that for a while.:(

Jon
20-Jun-2005, 23:21
Thats different Chris, it would be the same if my wife didn't want me to do a particular thing.

Did anyone get an email from CSS about a Rocky Trackday on 10th August? I seem to remember one, but my PC motherboard failed, and I lost all my emails. Is anyone else doing the school on the 9th considering the trackday aswell?

Dibble
22-Jul-2005, 11:13
Ian, i do recall that email but can't find it, also can't see the date on their site.

I personally won't be doing the trackday as Tess & Greg need to be back for work Wednesday,as do I all being well ....

Have i sent you your B&B details yet ???

Ian Harris
22-Jul-2005, 11:22
Yeah, thanks - I made a booking a couple of weeks ago...they were full, so I'm in the loft with no telly or something similar. If the track-day does exist (and is not a mere fig-tree in my imagination) I might hang around for it as I just can't get the hang of this body-position thing (as soon as I "hang-off", everything else goes out of the window), so a "practice" day immediately after the school might be just the job...see you on the 9th!

Dibble
22-Jul-2005, 11:25
Cool, see you there unless you are at Cadwell Monday ......

Ian Harris
22-Jul-2005, 11:30
No, unfortunately, there didn't appear to be any chance of getting on the waiting list earlier in the year and, by the time the option came up, I had something sorted for the weekend, and a meeting at work on Monday :(

I'm sure it will be a great day...Have a good one!

Ian,
There is a track day on the 10th, don't know if there are any spaces left, though.

Gary.

Thanks Gary & Butch, I've emailed CSS to see if there are any spaces left on the 10th.

Hi Guys,

It's a Rockingham Track Day, we (CSS) just 'marshall' it. It's on the 10th (there is no track evening on the 9th) and it's on the International configuration.
I believe it's £139 if booked before the 31st and £149 after that

Can't wait for level 2 I need to sort my visual stuff, I seem to play it by ear, trackdays are OK because you can guage the corner with every lap, but my road riding perception has gone way down for some unknown reason

It's all in the eyes! It's the key...
