he will be out for the rest of the season and off work for some time.
Thanks to everone that helped out (john Williams for getting the van home)and Phillip for spending all night at the hospital also Richard and Emma for taking time to go to see Dave.
Will keep you posted .

Bad luck Dave :(
I'm really disappointed to hear that, I hope you get better soon and back out there.
Thanks for that Butch, his high side was pretty awful to see especially as it was just in front of us. Here's to a speedy recovery and comeback. 4D
That's not good to hear, although 'only' broken bones.
Butch, pass on my best wishes to Dave.

Hope youre better soon Dave and back out there to show em a clean pair of heels. Quite a shock to see the high side right in front of us - and there were lots of us spectating at the chicane.
Woa, sorry to hear about that Dave. Hope you're up and feeling better soon.

Get well soon Dave. Very sorry to hear that you'll be out for so long as I know how much you wanted the wins. Russell is a ******* of a corner with completely unpredicatable grip levels thanks to the crap surface, and a kerb so rough it'd crack yer teeth. Mr Palmer might like to consider a bit of resurfacing soon as it seems 85% of accidents at Snet happen there.
Small consolation, but I hope you'll be back asap to show us how it should be done again.
Cheers,
Ali

really gutted for you dave.
nice to see that in true racer style you were asking how long it would take for the collar bone to heal and working out if you could make the next meeting at donington. obviously the injuries were worse than originally thought. you were definitely in some serious pain when we popped in to see you saturday evening.
be great if you decide to come into the series again for 2006 we need people like you out there.
hope you get well soon and the pain eases.
if you want to come along to watch any of the races you'll be more than welcome to share some donuts at the croatiasun camp!
Dave, glad to hear you are home.
Butch - please pass on a big hug from me (but a gentle one please:P )
C:) - and AK sends best regards too.

I'm so relieved you are still determined to continue. You were going so well it was really shocking to see that accident. It looked horrendous and must scared the living bejeezus out of the other racers. There but for the grace of god ...
Get well soon and ask for all the drugs you can get your hands on.
Thanks for posting the info, Butch

Get well soon Dave, cant risk finishing in the top 20 or I'll spoil my rep as a tailender so need you back on the grid mate ;)
Hope you heal quickly Dave, the series will miss you for the remainder of the season. Its a pity really because you where the only one at present to offer some competition to Geoff & Clinton.:sniff:

Thankfully I did, having just been lapped by Dave and Mike Dawson I was just entering the chicane when the accident happened and wast watching for where bike and rider were going to come to rest as well as watching Mike on the grass to see if he was going to hang on to it or become another hazard. Thankfully I had room to steer around Dave and his bike as well as seeing Mike rejoin the track just in front of me.
Get fit soon Dave thankfully it wasn't more serious than what it was.

Get well soon Dave.
It's not nice coming around a corner to see one of your fellow competitors lying on the track in front of you :(

Hope to see you back out there soon Dave.

Dave, look at it another way, you can be smug in the knowledge it was the only way most of this shabby bunch were ever going to overtake you .....
... and stop smirking ... ;)
For Dave
Hope you make a speedy recovery mate, I saw the accident from the grass bank and it was the best impersonation of a Beano Character I have seen all season. As a spectator it looked really bad as you were obviously concussed , Ali's missus was stood next to me and was very disturbed by the incident, Broken collarbones and roadracing go together and when the winter sets in it will remind you of that day, but keep your chin up and Im sure the boys at JHP will keep me informed of your wellbeing.
Regards Rich
gws dave, you feel much better after 2 weeks. i do:sing:
