Just a quick note to say thanks to all who posted get well messages on the site for me. Also, a very big thanks to Graham Butcher, Phil Haith and John Williams an co. These guys were a god send and sorted everything for me and there help is hugely appreciated. I hope to be able to re-pay there kindness, hopefully in much better circumstances. Also thanks to Richard and Emma Thirkettle for coming to see me in hospital. Last but by no means least, a massive thanks to the circuit medical team together with the staff at Norwich hospital, there level of care and attention was second to none.
I shall most likely be out for the remainder of the season, so good luck to the rest of you guys and safe racing. I'll probably be along to spectate at the next round.
I'm hoping to get back to JHP a.s.a.p as the withdrawel symptons for all things Ducati are starting to set in already.
Thanks again to all concerned.

Welcome to the message board Dave. Sorry to see you get so banged up.
Seeing as you're the newbie around here, get the bloody drinks in!
I'll have a quadruple vodka and red bull - ta :D
Dave, you'll be missed from the grid.
Hope you can still enjoy the atmosphere in the paddock tho, and maybe even fit enough for a heroic comeback in last round!
