Blimey - it seems every DD racer is gonna be up for Donny!!

Many recent conversations and postings with the DD'ers (and crews) seem to be pointing to an expectation of stepping-up, retribution, revenge or recovering for the August 13th spectacular.

Maybe its a mid-season, month lay-off type of thing that's given rise to an air of heightened expectation and anticipation.

Wilcard pilots, uprated steeds, freshly-schooled techniques and re-focussed application will all be on show.

- can't wait!!! :biaggi::biaggi: - its gonna be a scream!!!

How dissappointing is that!
I saw "Donington Competition" and thought you were shouting a free track day!

Hey - great idea - maybe its time for a special Rattler award.

Maybe it could be ;

- brightest wheels!
- least sleep!
- lairyist(sp) boots!!
- most steamed up visor
- or "Best excuse for underperforming"

Yep that's it - maybe we could make some early nominations for this last category, almost like pre-qualifying for the race excuses.

I'll start with;

- "Poor preparation - I've only done Donny 18 times, I'd have cracked it on my nineteenth visit" ;) ;)

I've done Donny 3 times... 6 & 7 years ago!! :(

Do you still turn left at Redgate? :lol:

Hopefully we'll have 60bhp for Donny, and I can get my dirty mits on a pot at long last... fingers crossed!

I've never been to Donny, my bike won't be running, my legs have fallen off and I'm blind. I'll be happy with a top 10.... :lol::lol::lol:

Yeah well I've got three broken arms, seven broken legs no depth perception and a slight lisp.

I'm looking for a top 30 :D

Yea but i missed that, or i could have repayed the compliment........
Mr rossi and co will be there 3 weeks before us so the track will be nice and clean with pretty grippy white paint.....and lots of black lines showing the perfect line, Just dont follow sete`s rubber or you may be in the bar with me and domski.

What? The "also ran" who ran in front of you for 21 laps at Snetterton with 10bhp less? :P:P:P

i think its great that soooooo many people are so bullish about donington. i'm really looking forward to it. clearly not everyone is going to improve so i guess there will be some quite ****ed off people at the end of the day. if i'm one of them i'll just redouble my efforts to sort it out at brands.

still going for top 10 though. aim for the stars etc etc.............

****ed off..maybe but at times i think we forget that we are novices and this is our first year of racing and we are ALL doing brilliantly ......I worry at times that we put too much pressure on ourselves and expect to much to soon..!..we gotta try and remember that this should be above all else FUN in a competative environment...........

sure. its funny how things change though, my most enjoyable session at brands on monday wa the first one when it was very busy and there were bikes left right and center (more of a race senario).

at the end of the day though if you are not improving in racing, even in our series then you will find yourself going backwards.

i aim to improve and want to push myself but as you say i still want to enjoy myself. at the moment its all working together and i'm loving it. when i'm not i'll pack it in.

seems a long way off at the moment though. :D
