i am the proud owner of a 2001 996s recently aquired from Woods motorcycles in Abergele north wales and i want to let everybody know that Dave and the rest of the staff at Woods was very helpful indeed, imo top notch service.thanks guys!!!!

anyway back to the bike,
wot a beauty!it is absolutely mint ,fdsh,1800miles,50m carbon termis,carbon-heel plates-front fender-rearhugger,single seat,olhins damper,taller screen,power commander........pretty much maxed out.

got to admit though,it was pretty uncomfortable riding the bike at first but i am getting used to the riding position more and more with each ride.

this is my first big v-twin and now i am beginning to understand wot u guys rave about.hard to put into words but here i go....i guess i fell in love with it the moment i heard it being fired up and the rest is history.

i havent stopped looking at it and polishing it since i got it nearly 3 weeks ago.

i bet i have the cleanest shiniest 996s in the world:D:

"it might not be the fastest or best bike on the road but it is the nicest bike!"Dave from Woods

i most certainly agree to that!

I do - and those are not girly tyre strips - they are a new set of tyres just before a track day.
