View Full Version : Big moan, and also a grin
Had to share this with you: (bless my hubby:lol: )
Have had problems with my bike mis-handling for quite a while, but 'im-in-the-garridge' (AK) just pooh-poohed the idea - all down to my bad riding (usual comment:rolleye: )
Then I had a tumble the other week:( - s'ok - no lasting damage :)
AK then kidnaps my bike to make a late appearance at Brands on Monday lunchtime - and lo & behold, the first thing he greets me with, is:
"How the hell do you manage to ride that"
after a bit of 'discussion' he acknowledges I 'might have been correct in my earlier conversations' after all:saint:
No proper tools at the track, so he has to ride her in the same condition back home - through very heavy rain
Tonight? - he fixes said problem - after finding the steering head bearings need major mega adjustment:o:o
.......and then goes on to give her a full valet & polish:smug:
Bike & me both happy again:D
Nasty hubby to nice hubby in one evening:saint:

what do you mean 'more' Kev? - he lost all the ones he had, with regards to the comments about my riding:alien:
Now, if he mows the lawn, trims a big bushy tree in the garden & does some of the housework too, oh - and the shopping this w/end - while I go 'ride-about;) he can earn some again:lol:

So Alan, why didn't you take Charlotte's word for it in the first place?
By my reckoning, you cannot possibly be in credit on the brownie points until 2009 - and you can trust me, I'm a mathemetician ;)
Men, can't live with them, can live without them. :frog::P:frog::P
