Phil, I read with interest every last post on this board and (as I think you know) I'm very interested in the desmodue RACING and associated technical information posted.

Unfortunately, there seems to be an awful lot of silly cr*p posted up as well.

Just MHO of course.

And you can still see what forum the post is in on Today's posts!

Haven't you got something better to do than whinge?

Or aren't we allowed to post anything in the DD forum in case it upsets your delicate sensibilities?

Please, feel free to complain to the webteam if you don't like my post - I'll get Mark or Eamonn to deal with it so you can't complain about my editing/censorship.

I know of your interest within the series. The amount of silly cr*p has greatly reduced. It just seems a little harsh that the first time a post goes up with a little banter and contaning a joke that has been a thread throughout the series , people jump all over it..............

if you want silly cr*p have a look at other forums or sites then you really will see cr*p in full affect.

NEW ROOLS FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE SEASON:

1. As a participant, you are only permitted to address those ahead of you in the championship with the utmost respect and hero worship. When the response is condesending and offensive, you will show your gratitude with a simple 'thankyou' and be greatful you were spoken to at all.

2. For riders in a lower position than yourself, it's open season, you may address them as you would any other lower class life form. If they fail to abide by rule 1 when addressing you, you automatically inherit their beer supply for the rest of the season.

yeah, but choice wise I would still sooner race SoT as i am used to the bike, prefer the circuits and its would be cheaper for me.

So it would have to be something significant to persaude me into DD at the moment

You'd race Bob? Remember, there's a MUCH higher chance you'll crash and I daresay you'll have more money tied up in Bob than you would in a DD bike. Could you afford to throw Bob in a skip and walk away?

Not sure that's the best way into racing to be honest Lily. Obviously it's your call but ongoing costs will be more than DD.

As for DD, you soon get used to the bike and your riding will improve tremendously.

Tony

Cost of Bob - approx 9k
Significant crash damage cost say 4.5k but still have bob to ride on the road

buying a dd bike and doing lots of track days to learn to ride it is probably gonna cost me more than 4.5k and thats assuming i crash anyway!!

If I do SoT it will only be a few races just for the giggle factor
