As title really, I'm at a bit of a loss.
Ideally modem and wireless router in one box. Don't want to break the bank either!
Cheers guys,
Neil
I got a Belkin ADSL Modem/Wireless router. Cheap as chips and works just fine

Buffalo or Belkin I'm told.
Dont buy Linksys as I did - useless.
Netgear are the daddies, used D-Link, Belkin etc, and they've got some nice 108Mb extended range models now
I use a Draytek Vigor - the large corporate I prostitute myself to have them as the company router they issue to staff. Good quality and a wide range. They also have a very easy to get around web admin page.
I'll have a look at which models suit you as soon as I've finished my lunch.

Draytek are the horse's dangly bits, bit expensive but they really do the job.
Ok, Draytek --> http://www.draytek.co.uk/products/router_compare.shtml
Of these I'd recommend you go for the 2600G unless you have a requirement for VoIP?
A quick search reveals that Broadband Buyer has them for sale for £150 http://www.broadbandbuyer.co.uk/Shop/ShopDetail.asp?CategoryID=730&ProductID=730 but you would likely find it a bit cheaper.
Is that within your price range?

Thanks for all the advice so far fellas!
£150 is a fair chunk more than I wanted to spend TBH.
What about this one (http://www.usbtech.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/11/products_id/291)? It's made by Safecom/Texas Instruments.
Any one got experience of this brand?
Thanks again,
Neil
That's looks good ! Good price. I have Belkin and it's been up and running for over a year. I can't remember the last time it needed rebooting.

It does look good, has all the right features.
The only experience I've had of these Brands is TI. They also make high-end calculators etc which are pretty good. I had a TI calculator.

Wanadoo live box:)
An extra £4 per month on top of your broadband fee, this gives you 1 wireless connection, but you can upgrade with extra wirless connector gizmo's, 1 direct connection & the nice bit, FREE evening & weekend calls to any UK landline (sorry no premium rate numbers, I wonder why)

I'll second that. I've got a netgear d834g and its in constant use as I route a live web, streaming and email server through it. Never had any major problems with it.

This seems a good deal at the moment.

Oh jeez... still owe you a fiver dont I? Or was it a tenner now, I forget.
And not going anywhere near the ashes - those damn aussies look a bit sharp now :o
The game we doubled on was washed out - so it's only a fiver.
At the moment ...
So where's all this confidence gone? England didn't turn into a rubbish side overnight and Pietersen has been selected in the Ashes squad. You should be brimming with confidence :D
G'warn ... you know it makes sense :D

TP - you've got two players Lee and Symonds, they turned it round as soon as they were back in the team. If Flintoff can manage to take Lee out again we'll take the ashes no prob, if not then it will just simply be close.
:o;):D
BTW - Netgear had it for ages no issues..

Thanks for all the replies guys - although I must admit I gave up on this thread once it turned into a cricket discussion!

make sure that whatever you get it has a built in firewall we have Drayteks at work and home and are give no problems but the very cheap ones we used to have crash reasonably often.
