A couple of answers.

1/ The fuel pumps will be open at lunchtime-@£1.00 a litre so don't say you weren't warned.

2/ If you are arriving on Sunday to stay over don't get there before 4.00pm otherwise you will be charged entry.

See you all there.(edited since I put TA5 rather than TA4-Doh!)

A question.

Why can't we camp Monday- it's hardly worth putting up the Armadillo for 1 night!

Is there anything happening on sunday that might be worth paying to get into watch?

"The VMCC (Vintage Motorcycle Club) are racing at Cadwell on Sunday 24 July so that those of you that can tear yourselves away from MotoGP on the TV might want to make a day of it. Advance tickets are £10 each, £12 on the gate. Children under 12 free.

Camping is permitted at the circuit only on Sunday night, free of charge. If you get there too early you’ll have to pay to watch the VMCC races. We understand that you should be OK as long as you leave it until after about 16.00."

Camping probably isn't possible on Monday because the MSV circuits now only allow camping when security has been arranged after a couple of late night drunken incidents at their circuits. Having said that, there is a trackday on Tuesday, so might be worth ringing either/both Cadwell and the trackday company and asking them, but there would probably be a £5 per head charge.

Actually matey, you are quite a long way from the truth.
You will probably find that there will be people lapping on old clunkers faster than you can - which means that the marshals will ensure that oil from crashes is cleared up much more efficiently than at the track day.
Where you will find the oil is in the paddock and collecting area :P

And no I won't be there :(

Boys,

Looks like Monty and I are going to be up there about 16.30 on Sunday and we were wondering about a meal that night.

Current suggestion is to do a large paella, I have a portable rig that can feed 10-12 at a sitting. If anyone fancies joing us to make up a nice big one, then let me know and I will get enough ingreadiants in to split amongst us.

This way I will have enough energy on Monday to sort out the carbs on the F3

Look I'm not getting at anyone but this is the Club's major trackday of the year. Considering how many people stayed over last year I can't understand why the Monday night has not been sorted? It is reassuring to know that you can put 100% effort in on the day knowing you don't have to break camp and drive home that night if you don't want to.

Can a Club "Official" make the calls so we can stay over please?
