View Full Version : Oxford panniers ok on a 749 ?
I bought some oxford panniers and tailpack before i bought the 749 and was wondering if anyone has had experience with these on a 749/999.
My obvious concern is the heat from the exhaust and whether i can get some protective heat resistan stuff or am i overly concerned when there is no reason to be?
Cheers.
:P
good question - be interssted in the answer.
I have the oxford sport panniers that I used on a Boxer Cup replika. Need to know how they would be on the 999.
Guess I could just get off my backside and try them but any hints or info would be useful before the journey up to Donnington!
kp;)
Ian, Thanks vm for that. I will go and have a fiddle this evening. I just happen to have some pipe lagging - I knew it would come in useful one day.
cheers,
kp

Forget the panniers and go for a Ventura Luggage system.
No ****ing about getting them on and off. The Ventura system won't make the bike more difficult through traffic and will centralise the load in the pack.
Do a search on the site for Ventura luggage and you will see the light
