I was wondering why the '04 749Rs are for sale too. Unless the owners are upgrading to cheap 999Rs!!!
Actually, if you can get £11k for your 749R, you've only got to find £3k for a 999R. They were £5.5k more to buy last year so that's a decent deal...

There`s a write up in Motorcycle racers august edition on the 749R,comparing it with Mr Eastons race bike, you know the one,the one we had on our BMF stand:D;)
Everyone is scared of them :puzzled: The price of a carbon side panel scared the pants off me :rolleye:

You mean its 14k for a 999R?
oh bugger.
You can get 999R's cheaper than £14k
03's yes, 04's from 14K upwards depending on mileage/bling
You mean people actually buy second hand bikes?
We were all just offered an 04 999R for £11k
Yes, but it's an 03 model grey frame, cast s/arm I am led to believe, and more so that was unfortunately under extreme circumstances :(

Dont do me any favours lads , site of negativity!!:rolleye::rolleye:
Well I rode Butch's baby 'R' at Cadwell-and absolutely loved it-that bike is a missile-mind you it does have 138rwbhp since it has the race kit on it, and it steers beautifully.

I'm looking at buying my first Ducati a 749. I think the dark looks best but the cheapest new one is a yellow 749BP for 6799 is this a good price?
Oh and 3000miles is naff all I sometimes put over 10000 on my bikes in a year.
Well I can confirm that the bike definitely was an 04. It is sold now but if I posted the price here every 999R owner would hunt me down and kill me.

My 749R has been advertised now for about 2 weeks at £10k including the termis and I have not had one call :(
I think the 2nd hand Ducati market is absolutely in the toilet :sniff:
