Yeah, any chance of an on-line list of some sort? I sent form & cheque off ages ago but, since then, I have had about six items lost in the post and all these "Your postman is a kleptomaniac psycho with learning disabilities" documentaries have got me worried.

Hang on... :eureka: ... I'll see if the cheques been cashed, ignore me.

Monty... I'll be getting my form & cheque off to you today. I've also got one other (+ a further 2 possibly) to come along.

How are the numbers looking at the moment? Many spaces left?

Any chance you could put some names to the groups (in an attempt to generate a bit of activity on the thread). It might spur some to come along.

Put me down for the fast group please.

I have ammended the list further up in this post to sort by groups so you can see who's in what.

Look far ahead - it slows down the track and without realising it your peripheral vision will guide you on the route you looked forward at. Similarly, don't watch someone if they go off infront of you - you will follow them!

Did my first day on July 4th, my second just now in Jerez. Made some mistakes in jerez that I paid for. All ready for my 3rd day at TA5. Be happy to hook up and share nerves!!!;)

Don't crash + don't follow kp ;) :frog: (robo75uk....you'll see what I mean when you see kp's recent modifications!).

Seriously though, you'll be fine if you ride at a pace you're happy with & don't try & keep up with other people.

Concentrate on what's in front of you, rather than who's trying to overtake you (let them worry about that).

Like kp says, look as far through the corner as you can & can. The bike will follow that path.

Don't touch the brakes in the corner (obvious, but it happens more than you'd think).

Most of all, enjoy yourself :burn:

You should get 6 or 7 20min sessions, depending on weather, stoppages, etc.

Joining Instructions-JOINING INSTRUCTIONS..............

What do you want to know??

Brands Hatch is in Kent off the A20

Signing on will be from 07.30, Briefing will be at 08.30, Fast Group out first at 09.00, then inter, then novice in 20 minute sessions. We should get hopefully 7 sessions each group, if there are stoppages we will try to adjust the times so that everyone gets the same amount of tracktime. Currently all the groups are less than half full so it's an ideal time for people who are less confident as the track won't be crowded.

Legal question - If it is day light, can I ride to Brands (sensibly) with a trackday fairing i.e. no headlight or mirrors?? Of course I will have my numberplate and rear brakelight.

In France, the answer would be "yes you can, if you don't get caught by the gendarmerie"

I don't know in the UK, but in France you're NOT allowed to ride a bike without mirrors or headlights. Even if you're going to a trackday :D. Furthermore, your lights must be on.

Thanks Tonio - I started a new thread on this and wished I hadn't opened the can of worms. :o

Last evening, by six'ish, it was overcast and if I were on the road, would definately have wanted a light on. That made my mind up.
