any one done this on theirs? whats parts required???

This has been covered a while ago, but yes I've had it, and it's far better for me personally as the original needed to be twisted then twisted again to get full throttle.

Mines basically a 916/996/998 throttle but running the single cable, rather than 2, JHP did everything on mine, might be worth giving them a call, it isn't cheap though as there's quite a bit of labour involved getting in the airbox etc

JPM is right, it has been covered previously.

The thread is under 999/749 - second page, the subject was throttle mod - should be enough in there to keep you going.

I did mine myself...........same 998 throttle and single cable...

I adapted my 999 cable as the std 998 one is too short. It would be interesting to know what cable jhp used on your bike john.

I think there is a lot of rollox spoken by some on whats involved in this mod......especially in the air box. The return springs/cam is the same 999 as 998r..just on the other side of the engine.
