I have tracked down the elusive part (thanks to Snells), and will now be replacing my front brake lever assembly this weekend, has anyone got any tips to make it go as smooth as possible. My DIY 'skills' are somewhat limited?:puzzled:

should not be a problem, simple meccano stuff that, a bit of grease on the centre pin that holds it in place wont go a miss.
o and welcome to the club, its early so ill just have a shot of southern and ice. cheers

As the sun is nearing the yard-arm somewhere in the world, can I shout you a double?

Thanks for the offer, alas we have the Monster in-law down, first time since the wedding so I guess I'd better show some sort of willing (you just know that the weather will be great)!!

A big hammer and some vasoline should do the trick!

And it did, however, the ferkin side stand broke and I now need to replace a broken clutch lever, indicator and said stand!!!
Ever get the feeling you should have stayed in bed this week!?!?!?:flame:
