haveing been the victim of tax disc lifters twice now the first time my holder was twisted and bent out of all recognition and the tax disc lifted -the second time a more expensive and really nice looking carbon one with allen bolts etc in a less accessible location on the bike gets ripped off the bike -- is there a clip on/off type tax disc holder available that you plug and go then remove when you park up (without the need for bolting on /off)some of you techy types could design one coupled up with an immobiliser system-- if i leave the tax disc under the seat or in my pocket will i get pulled for not displaying the tax disc???? and to top all that am only runnin on one cylinder now:(

not had a good day:mad:

Put a photocopy in your tax disc holder and carry your original in your pocket to produce if needed. worth a try. Or you glue the disc to the holder and it cant be removed without destroying it. Or use a car disc holder, stick it to your screen and peel it off when you leave the bike.

I have kept mine in my wallet for 7 years now after one was nicked, never been asked for it. Even when i Had a off and the police came to the accident they asked about my tax and i said 'yeah in my wallet' and showed them they were happy.

I also thought now with all the computers etc the traffic wardens can radio in ur number plate to see if u paid even if ur not showing it?

Theres no where gd to put one on a bike either :D:D
